The Organist Entertains: 2 Hands, 2 Feet and 27 Stops!

Three senior and two younger organists play music from yesteryear on the 1904 Lewis pipe organ in Ayr Town Hall. It is one of the most outstanding in Scotland, little sister to the Lewis at Kelvingrove.  Enjoy an hour of music for the community as experienced organists, specially chosen for Luminate, bring this wonderful instrument to life.

Mondays 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 October, 12-1pm, £3

2 October: Bill Hutcheson, organist at Clark Memorial Church, Largs.
9 October: Simon Nieminski, organist at St Mary's Metropolitan Cathedral and Robin Chapel, Edinburgh.
16 October: Malcolm Sim, organist at Glasgow Cathedral.
23 October: Alan Kitchen, organist at the Wellington Church, Glasgow.
30 October: Dr John Kitchen MBE, organist for Old St Paul's Episcopal Church, Edinburgh University and Edinburgh
