Ensuring that people who live with dementia can join in choir and singing groups is vital as we help communities re-engage with the social, creative activities that are so vital for wellbeing.

This workshop from the Age Scotland Dementia Training Team has been designed especially for choir and singing group leaders and organisers.

We will share learning about the impact of the pandemic on people with dementia and their carers. And we’ll explore some of the practical steps you can take to minimise the barriers that prevent new people engaging for the first time, or re-engaging after a long break.

The workshop will also give participants opportunities to share their experiences so we can all learn about what might work going forward.
