Creative Ageing Perspectives
This event in Dundee is for artists and creatives who have an interest in creative ageing. The afternoon will comprise presentations, breakout discussions and there will be plenty of time for networking.
It is aimed at:
- Older artists, whether you have a longstanding career or have come to your practice later in life
- Artists of any age who work with and for older people in community settings
- Professionals in cultural organisations who are involved in creative ageing work
Programme:
We will begin the day with a networking lunch and refreshments will be provided. There will be a drinks reception at 3.45pm that we hope you will join us for.
Timings:
12.45pm-1.30pm: Lunch and networking
1.30pm-2.00pm: Showcase from Beautiful People, a theatre group based at Dundee Rep for those aged 55+
2.00pm-3pm: Presentations and Q+A
- Tashi Gore – Associate Director of Dundee Rep and Scottish Dance Theatre
- Carol Sinclair – Artist and maker, working in porcelain and paper clay. One of the founders of Angus Creatives.
- Edith Macintosh – Executive Director of Strategy and Improvement at The Care Inspectorate
3pm-3.15pm: Break
3.15pm-3.45pm: Breakout Discussions
3.45pm: Wrap up and networking over tea, coffee and cake
4.45pm: Event finishes
