Haleh Jamali is a Glasgow based multimedia artist and arts tutor. Her artistic practice expands from drawing, painting, sculpture, animation, print-making, mural painting, photography to video-making.
Her interest in portraiture and narrative stems from a desire to address the social aspects of representation, particularly in relation to the female gender and with a concern for the hidden layers beneath that which is visible. Her works have appeared in various solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally. She has extensive experience in painting murals and running painting mural workshops throughout her career.
