Ingrid Bell Visual art

Ingrid is based in Edinburgh but travelled to Shetland for her bursary project. She documented the unique flora of Shetland, collecting samples and keeping a visual and written diary of her time there .

Collographs created from her time in Shetland were shown at Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum and Arts Heritage centre on North Uist in the Outer Hebrides last September, alongside the British Association of Art Therapy Conference with the theme of Place and Identity.

“I was both nervous and excited at the prospect of a two week stretch to focus on art work uninterrupted , something I’d not been able to do for many, many years.”
