James Winnett is an artist, stone carver and workshop leader based in Glasgow. Working primarily in public art, his practice explores the crossovers between sculpture, archaeology, place and memory.
He has developed a range of public projects across the UK and Ireland. Each project is underpinned by a creative research and engagement process that is tailored around the community and context of each site.
