Lorna Campbell Visual Artist

Lorna is a visual artist with a socially engaged practice and an advocate of social enterprise. She lives in Inverness and has worked across the Highlands and Islands in rural community development, in particular community land/asset ownership.

As an artistic facilitator she employs creativity for wellbeing, with drawing, painting, printmaking, words, collage and bookmaking being key in her work. Her practice actively engages others in the creative process, placing people at its centre, with a focus on relationship-building and interaction.

Lorna has a strong interest in the collaborative process, and the transformative powers of co-creating and continuing learning. This led her to co-founding Circus Artspace, an artist-led collective and graduate support programme committed to building a public programme around contemporary visual arts in the Scottish Highlands.
