Discover monoprinting with Kit Martin

Discover monoprinting, collage and book making

What to expect: This project will give you the space and time, with full support from Kit, to learn or find out more about the simple process of monoprinting that results in beautiful printed art works.

You will be guided through making experimental monoprints, collage and simple book structures, none of which need particular skills or experience. Kit will help you work towards what interests you and you will hopefully come away with some prints, collage and a book that you are happy to have made.

About Kit: Having studied Biological Imaging Kit Martin has worked as a Medical and Police Photographer before working in environmental organisations and community arts. She is by nature, curious; finding beauty in small and often overlooked things in nature.

A photographer who enjoys making images as much as taking them she uses natural elements such as the sun and tide and often works with historical camera-less processes. Kit also experiments with printmaking and making simple books. She loves Museums and has collaborated with a number to hold exhibitions and workshops based around natural history collections.
