We recently launched a pilot knowledge exchange programme within the Dementia Inclusive Singing Network.
Seven members will link up to visit other member singing groups to see how other groups work, compare activities and approaches and then meet as a group to share insights and ideas.
On 9th March 2024 there will be a final group event to pull together everything that each member has gleaned over the past months of the exchange.
We hope the programme will enable a peer learning relationship, where participants can inspire each other’s development and offer support with some of the challenges network members face.
As a pilot project, we also want to learn how we can best support choir and singing group leaders to pass on their insights across the Network. The programme will be independently evaluated, and what we learn from this will shape any future knowledge exchange programmes that we offer.
