Jars of Challenge

Spark your imagination with this creative challenge from artist Alex McEwan. Create your own jars and pots using everyday, recycled materials from around the home. Alex will show you three different ways of decorating your jars. The first is through collage, the second is by covering jars in fabric and the last is covering jars with things from the kitchen cupboard.

What you’ll need:
Cover your workstation with something like newspaper
A pair of scissors
PVA glue
Three jars (such as jam jars)
Sticks from outside, or a wooden spoon (on the end of the sticks we will put ideas about things we would like to do when things are back to normal).
Paintbrush or sponge.
