Creating A Flower Mandala

Artist Marcela Trsova invites you to join her in the ancient art of mandala making – a form of creative meditation that focuses the mind on the present. Mandalas can be created using a range of different materials and today Marcela is using flowers.

What you’ll need:
Some paper or a clear table space
Some flowers,
grasses, berries, seeds, anything that is a natural material. You can also use pencils, buttons, pasta shapes or anything that can make a pattern.
A pair of scissors
You could press your creation if you wish – you’ll need some heavy books and another sheet of paper to go on top of your creation to do this.

Length of activity: 25mins
