What We Do
We work across Scotland to ensure that older people’s creativity can flourish whatever their circumstances, experience, interests and ambitions. We are the leadership organisation for creative ageing in Scotland.

Innovation and Learning: we research and test new ways of working that help more older people take part in the arts and be creative. We learn from our work and share our learning with others to bring about positive change.
Inclusion: we believe that everyone has the right to take part in creative activities regardless of age, as part of a full, enjoyable and fulfilled life. We work with diverse communities, including those who face barriers to participation.
Developing practice: we support the development of creative ageing work in the arts, care and community sectors. We deliver training and professional development for those who work creatively with older people. We provide networking opportunities and support older artists to develop their creative practice.
Celebration and advocacy: we showcase creative ageing work, sharing news and best practice. We advocate for creative ageing and its impact with policy and decision makers. We challenge stereotypes and ensure that the creativity of older people is visible and valued.
