Xana joined Luminate in November 2025, coming from a background in both administration and the arts, with communities. Previously, Xana worked with Age Scotland as part of the Workplaces Training Team, advocating for the rights of older people in the workplace and has worked across Scotland delivering creative projects with people of all ages, including older adults.
Xana is also an award-winning writer, working across theatre and television, and has toured productions into all sorts of settings from full scale theatres to village halls and everything in between.
Xana is passionate about the role of arts and creativity in everyday life and believes that everyone has a right to express themselves creatively, whether that is something they want to share with the world, or keep just for themselves. Xana is also a passionate advocate of systems and spreadsheets, and it is this combination of skills that she brings to her role with Luminate!
