Euan is currently working to improve visibility and recognition of NHS Scotland staff, while minimising the impact of single use garments. This work is part of the Design HOPES initiative, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
He is also a Co-Investigator on the CONSOLIDATE network. This network works with people living with dementia to develop technological interventions, driven by their needs, wants, and desires. The CONSOLIDATE network is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
Euan’s previous work on ‘Life Death and Lillies’ helped to change narratives around bereavement and grief for communities who have learning disabilities.
His ‘Designed with DeMEntia’ projects looked to reveal and harness the creative capabilities of people living with dementia in collaboration with Alzheimer Scotland.
Euan’s experience also includes theatre design, lighting trails, housing exhibitions, public space design and new product development. He intends to lean upon this experience as a member of the Luminate Board. Euan is excited by the work of Luminate and their creative aging approach which reinforces highly inspiring lives.
