Luminate and our web designer Bauholz are committed to maintaining a website that is as accessible as possible for all.

We’ll ensure this website achieves Level AA conformance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and we try to make it easy to use with assistive technologies with:

• Easier-to-read colours
• Larger fonts
• Keyboard-only navigation

We consider accessibility when we procure third party systems or upgrades to existing systems.

Font and legibility

This website uses a slightly modified version of Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface created in partnership with Braille Institute. It was developed specifically to increase legibility for readers with low vision, and to improve comprehension. You can read more about the font here.

All text on the site is in high contrast with its background colour, to maintain good legibility. This contrast is a minimum AA standard, and AAA in most cases.
