Autumn 2025 events programme

Booking for our autumn events programme is now live. We have two online events – Artist Wellbeing in Practice and our Older Artist Seminar with The Baring Foundation, as well as an in-person gathering at Eden Court for artists and other creative professionals to explore Creative Ageing Perspectives.

All events are free, but booking is essential as places are limited. You can find full details and booking information for each event on our Events page.

Artist Wellbeing in Practice

Tuesday, 14th October, online, 10.30am – noon

Join Luminate for an online discussion about artist wellbeing in the participatory arts and more specifically creative ageing work. We will look at current challenges, discuss areas for development in the sector and highlight good practice and some practical tools.

Creative Ageing Perspectives

Thursday, 6th November, Eden Court, Inverness, 10.30am – 3.00pm

This event is for artists and other creative professionals who have an interest in creative ageing. It will comprise presentations, discussions and there will be plenty of time for networking.

Older Artist Seminar with The Baring Foundation and Luminate

Tuesday, 18th November, online, 2.00 – 3.00pm

This online seminar will rethink what we mean by an emerging artist. It will focus on the opportunities that can arise from finding a new creative career or developing a new artistic direction in later life.
