Nurturing Connections through Creative Ageing
We are delighted to be working with We Are Here Scotland on an online networking event designed to bring together Black and Global Majority artists and creatives with at least 2 years’ career experience, to explore possibilities for creative engagement with older people in Scotland.
The event will be online and feature renowned visual artist Paria Goodarzi as the guest speaker, who will share insights on creative ageing practice and working with diverse older communities.
The event aims to:
- Foster relationship-building among Black and Global Majority artists and creatives from diverse discipline
- Explore the transformative impact of connecting artists with diverse older communities in Scotland
- Discuss creative ageing strategies that create a sense of belonging across cultural backgrounds
- Identify potential employment opportunities, project pathways, and funding possibilities
