Nicola Naismith is a visual artist, researcher, coach, mentor and Higher Education lecturer with over 25 years’ experience of working in the arts and culture. She is the author of research (Artists Practising Well) which explores the support needs of creative practitioners working in arts and health, participatory and social art practice and advocates for positive changes to working conditions.
Nicola has shared her research through talks and workshops with a wide range of audiences. She designs and delivers programmes of support for creative practitioners and works with individuals through coaching and mentoring. She lectures on the MA Art and Social Practice programme and leads modules in Professional practice, and Reflective and ethical practice.
