Telephone Stories
Artist Lesley Wilson gathered and captured the stories of three older people living in Skye by talking regularly by telephone between December 2020 and February 2021. She worked in partnership with SEALL – a community-focused performing arts charity in Skye. Lesley worked one-to-one and held hours of conversation to hear and gather stories from their lives. She then worked collaboratively with the participants to edit and refine a written record.
This project was one of four creative collaborations, part of Creative Ageing in the Pandemic, exploring different ways that artists and older people can work together safely.
