Glasgow Creative Ageing Project
From May to July 2026 we are working with freelance artists Jj Fadaka and Bee Asha on a new creative ageing project in Glasgow.
The artists are collaborating with older people from diverse communities in the city on a series of creative workshops, with activities chosen by the groups. The workshops include painting, candle design, textiles and clay modelling.
Jj Fadaka is working with older people at the Wing Hong Centre, and Bee Asha is working with the Mahila Group and Shanti Bhavan at the Hindu Mandir Glasgow.
This project is a collaboration with We Are Here Scotland and Age Scotland.
