Creative writing

Putting pen to paper to try creative writing, storytelling and spoken word techniques.

Playwright and poet Martin O’Connor guided participants through a variety of creative writing approaches, showing them the essential skills to start putting pen to paper. During his sessions, they explored poetry, short story, prose and biographical writing and learned how to apply these to their own ideas. As they reached the final session, they also shared what they had written with each other, building confidence in their voices.
