Luminate in Angus

This summer, our new creative ageing programme got underway in Angus.

We want to provide opportunities for people to take part in creative activities, regardless of age, experience or circumstances.

We’re currently meeting with local groups, organisations, artists and older people across the county.

We’re learning about the great work that’s already taking place, and where there might be opportunities to work in partnership and create something new.

Earlier this year we ran an artist-in-residence project in Forfar. Feedback was extremely positive and we’re keen to build on that success.

What’s in store?

The programme in Angus is at the planning stages, but we expect it will include:

• Creative projects with and for older people
• Support and training for artists, community organisations and care providers
• Joint projects that bring together people from the arts, community, health and social care sectors
