Creative ageing in a pandemic: 10 things learned

17 June 2021

This resource shares learning from our project Creative ageing in the pandemic, which connected artists with care homes and organisations supporting older people during the winter of 2020/21.

Four creative partnerships explored how artists could work remotely to safely offer live, creative activity for people in care homes and at home.

As artists begin to return to work in this field, there is an expectation that remote working, or a blended approach that combines remote and in-person engagement, will continue. We hope the learning described here will support and inspire social care staff and artists to continue building on this work.
